Farewell Felix

Oh Vicki I am so, so sorry for your loss.
I know what a special piggy sweet Felix was to your family, and how much he will be missed.
I feel so honored that I got to meet him and have a cuddle with him.
Sending huge hugs to you, Mr A, and Evie today.
 
Heartbreaking - this is so sad! I’m so sorry to hear your news. What an adorable pig. But also what a heartwarming story about how you and Mr A completely turned his life around and made him feel so safe and happy. Felix looked adorable and those are lovely photos and memories of the good times. He was lucky to have you both and I’m glad he had the chance to experience a truly loving home, even if it wasn’t for as long as you’d have wished for. Your story shows that with dedication it is possible to turn things around and give rescue pigs the home they deserve. Those happy squeaks on the grass and his lovely bond with you, Mr A and his lady pig friends - he hit gold when he found you and that must have been wonderful for him after such a difficult start to life. You did so much to meet his needs and are a good example to us all.

So sorry again for your loss. Also thanks for all you do on the forum, it is amazingly helpful and we know you and all the others running this have plenty of your own piggy trials and tribulations to deal with. I can’t believe how you all still manage to find the time and head space to help us deal with our piggy problems too. The dedication of you and the others is hugely appreciated and the advice given here must be saving piggy lives all the time. x
 
Thank you all for your lovely kind words. Felix was a very special little chap and MrA and I are both devastated by his early passing. He was one of a kind and I feel in some way that he must have been destined for us. We were as lucky to have him as he was to have us.

I'm just taking stock a the moment before deciding what to do for the best for Evie. She had lived alone all her life before coming in to the rescue, and was lucky enough to meet her piggy soul mate in Felix. She is looking a little lost at the moment, but I am sure she won't be alone for too much longer.
 
What a stunning little guy! He may not have been with you as long as you'd hoped for, but you gave him an amazing life, while he was with you, after his dreadful start! Animals live for the moment and the time he spent with you would've been so perfect for him and he would've felt so loved! Hugs x
 
Oh Felix what a gorgeous boy you are and how blessed to have a good such a wonderful mum. I know you know that because you look so content on the photos. Rest in peace little fellow and know how much you were loved. vickiA you are a miracle worker . Thank goodness for people like you x
