I lost Broly as well on April 3

It was also very very sudden and unexpected.
He had surgery to remove a very tiny non cancerous mass on April 1, it was a very very very very low risk procedure. We brought him home, he was walking slow like they said he would for a few days. He was eating and drinking his water. Next morning he again was fine, I got home around 4pm CST, I checked on him, he had ate his pellets and his hay, he was laying next to his water bottle. I checked on him again an hour later and he was walking slowly. I checked on him again a short time later and brought his cage closer as I was watching TV. Next thing I know, I see him dragging himself out of his house, only using his front legs

... I could hear him struggling to breathe, but through his mouth and I could hear the mucus in his nose. He started to slightly twitch, I ran to get him a carrot, I placed it in front of him, he tried to pick his head up but he couldn’t

... we called numerous emergency vets to see if they saw guinea pigs, when we found one, we rushed him there. They saw him immediately and kept him overnight for treatment ... He only made slight improvement when they called the next morning at 10am CST and recommend he stay another night for further observation and treatment. She called again an hour later saying his sugar levels are extremely low and isn’t eating and she’s going to give him anti-inflammatory injection and if that doesn’t work, then there is only 1 option left. She called at 12:30pm cst, that he is twitching and it doesn’t look good going forward, so I rushed out of work to go see him, she called at 12:46pm to report that he just passed

We’re all still in shock, he was fine, then suddenly he was being rushed to the vet and passed hours later.
