Farewell Pickles

On Friday we bade a sad farewell to Pickles after a few months of mystery weight loss, recovery and inconclusive investigations. This time we couldn’t restart his appetite. Our quirky, adorable, ‘giant hamster’ joined us in 2019 from Hazlecroft rescue as a companion for Biscuit after losing Snowball in the autumn. 2021 has been a bad year for us as we lost both Biscuit and then Wilbur in the Spring but we were lucky that Pickles would put up with Crumble!

Sleep soundly Pickles, with our beloved Biscuit, always in our hearts and memories.

Because he was such a character, it may feel like he has been with you a lot longer than he actually has. Time is just so subjective!
