Farley,
You are gone but not forgotten,
You are lost but still loved.
About one year ago,
You won my heart,
But now it feels as if it’s been taken away.
You are my special boy,
And I promise never to forget you.

Farley passed away yesterday around 7:00 PM. He developed another stone in his urethra, and sadly, the surgery was two risky. Even if he survived it, tons of more problems could follow. He couldn’t pee. I knew what had to be done. He was peacefully euthanized. I spent an hour with him in the vet room. I made sure my last words to him were “I love you Farley pig”. He will be buried next to our last pig, Rolo, tomorrow morning. I miss him so much. We brought Clifford to the vet with us, so he also was able to say goodbye. Farley was 4 or 5. I only had him for a year, but it was one of the best years of my life. Sleep tight my little angel.
