farm bales of hay

are these ok to use for the piggies to burrow in and eat? does it matter they aren't dust free or dust extracted? do people use this for bedding as it is better cost wise, and then put nicer hay in the hay racks? thanks

don't know if this is correct but the bales could have harmful weeds in them and the long stalks can injury the guinea pigs eyes! the dust can also be harful to their lungs!! sorry:x

ok, thanks. someone on the rabbit forum is selling it quite cheaply. think i will stick with the dust free hay though.
