right... i have been searching and found some places that do these.. however i now need to persuade my dad or brothers to go and get me some next time i need it... which won't be easy! my mum is the only person who would but her car is too small (one of the two seater sporty numbers :)) )

just incase anyone is interested, here are some i found:

http://www.bealhey.co.uk/ this one has been recommended to me before but they don't deliver to me unfortunately.

i also found these two:

J Aspinall
Brooks Farm Coal Pit Lane, Oldham, Lancashire, OL8 3JN

W A Tomlinson 1 Hill Top Farm, Chadderton, Oldham. OL1 2SB 0161 633 5921

and elaine at tameside rabbit rescue told me about a place she gets her hay bales from which is this one:

'the farm on coal pit lane in Oldham just off Oldham rd'

i haven't got any details from any of them regarding prices and bale sizes yet, except for beal hey which is meadow hay bales for £5.75 (20kg)

hope this helps someone, and i will update again if i try any of them. :)

I buy in bulk sometimes from these guys, they can order megazorb in for £7.00 a bag, usually the hay bales i get from here are pretty good for bedding hay but the last bale i got was the dusty/problem one, had a bale since and thats been ok, they also do excel rabbit nuggets £10 for the largest bag, shavings/easibed/easichick/allen and page food/ huge bags of carrots 1.50 (does the rabbits/piggies/dogs and land snails daily last 2 weeks) + loads of chicken stuff. You've just gotta watch what your buying from them though as they store a lot of stuff outside and on more than one occassion i have had to throw away half a bag of something as its been wet through...

that doesn't sound too good does it. think i'll give this place a miss. i've found another online place i'm happy with so for now i think i'll not try farm bales anyway. :)
