Farm hay okay to eat?

Hi all,

I’m just wondering if untreated greasy hay from our local farm is okay for the guinea pigs?

As long as it is good quality, green, not damp, doesn’t smell mouldy etc, then yes it’s fine.

I used to buy farm bales of hay for my animals as it worked out much cheaper (i can’t get it now as they no longer sell to the public )

Thanks a shame. It does work out cheaper and I’m guessing freasher as well.
