Any ideas - Maisie has developed a lump on her lower eyelid. The eye isn't inflammed, swollen or red and there is no discharge at all so I'm almost positive it's not infected or that she has a hay-poke injury. It almost looks like a very small piece of watermelon, its the same colour. Is this what is known as 'fatty' eye? She is off to the vets tomorrow for it to be checked out. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies, whatever it was/is, it's disappeared. I will keep bathing the eye and if it re-occurs off to the vets.

This happened with Pixel too. It appeared pretty much overnight, lasted about two days or so then disappeared! It didn't cause her any discomfort - she didn't scrach at it or anything. This was about four months ago or so and it hasn't come back. :)
