Linney lost a little bit of weight in the early days of her UTI, while she wasn't eating much. She is doing much better on antibiotics and her weight has stabilized (she hasn't lost more) but she is still lower than her 'pre-illness' weight. Is there anything I can do to fatten her up again? Or considering the fact that she is a larger girl (just under three pounds) should I just leave it alone? She's not overweight- she is just big-built for a sow and has a big head, long body, etc. I've heard of oats for adding calories- is this just rolled oats (like what you would boil to make oatmeal?) Do you give them raw or cooked?

Porridge oats are fine uncooked, corn on the cob is good too.

I've gone through the same with my girls, but as she was 1.1kg (as opposed to her 1.2 pre illness) I was advised to stop feeding her up as she is a healthy weight. I should think she will be fine the weight she is :)

Great news she's doing better after medicine. I think you'll find she'll just re gain any weight that she's lost as she gets her appetite back so don't worry too much x
