as some of you are aware Rocky had a case of bloat a while back and although back to normal its has left him 400g under his prime weight so any tips for helping him put it back on?
How old is he lovey? Sometimes if they are older, they just dont put the weight back on.
Lilly was just under 1300g in Dec last year, he had dental issues in Jan this year and went down to between 900 - 1000g, he is now fully recovered and back to his normal hungry greedy self, but has only ever got upto 1160g at most, the vet said it isn't uncommon in older piggies for them not to re-gain all of the weight they lost.
Lilly was about 3 and a half, so i would say its just a case of, he isn't going to put it back on. So long as he is a good weight and fit and healthy i wouldn't worry about it. xx
