I love hearing funny stories about piggies! My favorite thing about my Cali (lives alone because she doesnt get along with other pigs) is how she stands on her hind legs and pulls hay from the top of the bin! My funny story is every day, she stands on her hind legs right before veggie time!

funniest thing archie does is pin my hand down and do a pile of poop on it. and if i try to move my hand away, he bites me and claws it back into place.
my fave thing is when we cuddle, he nuzzles himself right into my face and sometimes puts his foot in my mouth so i can lick and nibble it.

My favourite thing is when my naughty pig Bella is tunnelling through the fleece (BAD GIRL!) which is often, I like to be cruel and get the remaining 3 girls some lettuce and call Bella. It's hilarious to watch her panic because she can't get out and someone might eat her piece :))

I'm an evil mummy but serves her right for ruining the cage all the time! XD

P.S please don't call the RSPCA on me, I promise I save her piece for when she does get out :)) I'm hoping to train her to get out XD

I have two young sows, Honey and Treacle, who come to work with me during the week (I work in a nursery and they are class pets). We have one groups of children in the morning and a different group of children in the afternoon. At the beginning of each session, we take register and choose our "Special Person of the Day", who then gets to be the one to fill the piggies bowl up with their veg and put it in their cage.
We sing a song as we choose our special person and it makes me laugh how Honey and Treacle have learned it means veg time is coming and they get really excited and wheek along to the singing. XD

(I should just add that their cage at work is 120 x 60cm and not like those horrible tiny ones class pets are often kept in. Honey and Treacle are MY pigs. I just get to bring them to work with me. )

We always laugh when we think of Anselmo, he was our escape artist.

One day he was out in the living room with us whilst we were watching tv. He was doot dooting around, going round and round the sofa. After a while we noticed that the doot dooting has stopped and Anselmo was gone.

The living room door was closed so he was around somewhere.

It took us about 15 minutes to find him.

He was cozied up, on his side inside a bag of curtains. However the bag was zipped shut so we have no idea how he got in it!

I was cleaning out the pigs the other week, and whilst on floor time, Mr Darcy disappeared! I was taking the bin liner out of their room, with all the cage waste in, to take to the bin, when I was aware of movement in the bin liner. Argh! I put down the bag and looked in. Mr Darcy was in the bag covered in dirty hay, woodshavings and poop! I quickly picked him out and cleaned him up, bad piggie!

Peanut (RIP) once jumped into a bag of hay when I sat and held her on a chair next to the open hay bag! It fell over and when I checked on her, she wasn't hurt, just sitting in the hay bag munching on her fav food (besides veg of course!)

Comet did that, dived in there head first. He had to be dragged out backwards squealing in protest because the hole in the bag was not bug enough to get through. A week later he tried leaping over the arm of the sofa to reach the bag and I had to catch this flying guinea pig with one hand. He gets a little loopy where the hay bag is involved.

Blitzen likes to whack Comet over the head with pepper slices. Always the pepper slices. Then he uses Comet's back as a table. He also prefers to wait til Comet's got veggies in his mouth, then Blitzen will steal them and leave Comet like "wait where did my food just go?" he's so lazy lol. Tonight he tried eating a lettuce leaf from the middle and kept dropping it because he couldn't get it into his mouth properly. He kept doing this, trying in vain to tame this leaf with his left paw. Eventually he gave up and ate it from the stalk upwards...funny how much easier that was lol.

Jake (RIP) started a riot in the house one Christmas morning by loudly demanding his breakfast...and letting the dog in the next room (who could not be allowed near pigs) know that there was a squeaky intruder in the house. Between his squealing and the dog barking, everyone was awake at 7am that morning. Nobody was impressed with me...but I thought it was hilarious lol.

Jack (RIP) decided to make a bid for freedom when I was in hospital once and turned up in the next door neighbours garden. Nobody would tell me til he was safely rescued lol. Apparently they thought making a temporary enclosure out of bricks that was only one brick high would be enough to stop him escaping

I have a new one from Comet - I went to go refill the (very much empty) pellet bowl. I picked up the bowl and Comet bolted over to where the bowl had just been, then started fervently hunting for it, squeaking dramatically the entire time.

When I refilled the bowl and put it back down, he ignored it entirely of course.

Hmmm. I love the way that, when wheeking, the boys both beg and used to end up tumbling slightly over each other. I also love that if you put a piggy on the kitchen floor, he'll sniff his way upstairs to the cage. They know the route by heart! Also...let me think. Hmm, Godfrey once saw apple on the table and grabbed it and ran off backwards with it. Duncan's new hobby, now that they're separated, is to get Godfrey's attention so he can rumble at him. Now I'm listing adorable things they've done!

My favourite thing about the boys is how they're affectionate. Godfrey will enthusiastically lick your face, whereas Duncan sometimes does sweet little kisses. It makes you realise that they're caring little creatures who *sniffles* really do love us:luv:

That reminds me of my Fozzy. I've told the story of him before. I had the pigs outside, I was silly enough back then to think they'd be fine free ranging around the garden when I was out with them.

Anyway, Fozzy disappeared. The garden was piggy proofed around the edge so he was somewhere. I checked everywhere and started to unpack the shed in case he was in there. Mum came out to help. We couldn't find him so I went inside to find my Dad to help. I could hear a rumbling from upstairs.

I went to have a look and there was Fozzy rumblestrutting along Arnold's cage.

He'd climbed the step into the house, crossed the living room, jumped by all of the stairs and found his way back into my room.

After that he climbed the stairs regularly.

My Molly RIP used to lead a piggy train up to the top of a bridge. When she got there she'd stop. Due to the bridge being quite narrow the others in the train couldn't go up or down. So they would wait patiently for Molly to move.
Molly loved tomatoes so she would grab it & hide. Funny how a piggie who can be a plodder can tun into a sprinter when needed.
