Hey there. I just got two guinea pigs (Tom and Jerry) and I was told that this forum was useful for advice. They are both brothers and are adorable!

Just wondering what snacks your guinea pigs like the most? Someone suggested celery and it went down a treat! Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Also Jerry is continusesly eating and finishes a bowlful of muesli a day plus extra treats...am I over feeding him? :o

they should have certain amounts of dried food ,hay and veggies everyday i feed mine 4/5 different veggies a day an 1/8 of pepper lettuce leaf (never iceberg) celery kale carrots with tops cucumber as a treat occasionally cabbage and broccoli parsely corriander there's load's they can have and they need it too as they cant make their own vitamin c
 
A small slice of apple about once a week :) yum yum. Don't feed too much/too often though as can cause sores around their mouth.
 
Fresh herbs! Mine love Parsley, Corriander and Dill. Pippa also quite likes basil (although the others won't touch it)

Strangely, one of their favourites is hay.... lots of hay!
 
My babies are obsessed with curly kale, literally obsessed. They also love cucumber, watercress, parsley, carrot....
