Feeding Baby And Adult Guinea Pig

Hi, we are adopting a baby guinea pig as a friend for our recently bereaved 2.5 year old who has been showing signs of being unhappy. I just wondered how best to go about providing pellets for two age groups. When our pigs were babies they were fed unlimited oxbow baby guinea pig pellets, but now he has limited burgess excel. What should we do with two pigs of different ages?

Well I had a similar problem when I got my first two pigs. We fed them guinea pig mix for a day, then abruptly realised this was a bad idea as they can be picky! I fed mine first with Wilko guinea pig nuggets, but they weren't very good quality so swapped to burgess excel nuggets after a packet. Annoyingly they didn't say how much to feed young ones. I would give a small portion, and see how the baby gets on. I hope this helps!
