Sorry if this has been asked before, but i can't find a suitable answer, the land we have moved on has been somewhat neglected and has an abundance of weeds/herbs growing on it, my piggies are eating there fill of fresh while the weathers good but i was wondering about harvesting and drying so i can add a little variety to there diet over winter,

i've read that guineas can eat
dried nettle, is this leaves or leaves and stalk? (harvesting would be much quicker if they can eat the stalk)
rasberry leaves, is this just the present years new growth once fruit production has stopped or can they eat the leaves from this years crop? (i was concerned about the small spines on older leaves)
plaintain, can they eat the long "stick" that grow up from the plant?
"sticky willies", can they eat the whole plant?

thanks for reading

The sticky plant they can certainly have all of, my piggies love the stuff. Plantin they can def have all of too. I am not 100% on the other two. I'm almost certain they can have all of the nettle plant (def the leaves) and as with the rasberry plant maybe can advise further on here. I love feeding my lot fresh herbs and wild plants they love it.

x.
