Hi

I'm currently bonding a boar to my current piggie. The new piggie is fed on Museli, but I want to change him to my own piggie's food, Science Selective. How do I introduce the pellets, without causing upset? My piggie isn't used to Museli, so I don't want to upset his stomach either.

In all fairness, the new piggy should be OK to switch straight onto the food you currently use with your existing piggy. It is said that new food needs to be introduced gradually over a period of days to avoid upsetting stomachs, but this is often not the case - I think moreso with unknown veggies and fruit. If you think about it, when a pig is dumped at a rescue - how do you know what dry food it is been eating? Our piggies have such a variety of nuggets and often switch from one type to the other, never with any issues.

Just keep an eye on the new piggy, but I'm sure all will be fine.
