I am thinking of trying to feed little Puggle up a bit ready for winter, and I wondered if anyone has any thoughts on this? She's very petite and will always be very petite I think, but she currently weighs 730g and that's a bit slimmer than she used to be and I'd like her to be. She reached 790g but then lost weight worrying about Theo when he was neutered (far more weight than he lost!), and didnt gain it all back... then she lost weight when she moved into the big C&C cage with the chubby ladies and didnt gain it all back... then she had her nasty acute bloat and dropped to 710g, and I feel that she's not really regained enough weight. She eats very enthusiastically but has a tiny appetite, she'll wolf down exactly 3 pellets and 3 small pieces of veg then she's she walks off to nibble hay. She eats lots of hay. Very daintily and selectively. The only time I've seen her eat a proper dinner is when Theo decided to mate with her while she was having breakfast and she ate 10 pellets because it was only polite to keep eating until he had finished his "live badger

Oops did I post already- I meant to correct to "love badger" activities. Should I start giving her porridge oats and grated root veg sometimes as an extra high calorie high protein snack meal? Or should I just let her be skinny? She's very happy and healthy and I dont want to overfeed as she's definitely prone to bloat and tummy aches, but she's so small compared to her friends (even little husboar Theo tops the scales at a very sleek and chunky kilo now, husboar life definitely agrees with him).
