I bought Rosy from a Petco. Do I'm sure she's never have vegetables. So I always do tons of research on the animals I have. So I read about them needing veggies everyday. So I tried a few but put whole pieces. She didn't touch them . So I chopped them up. She know eats them. I recently put bell pepper in them and red leaf lettuce. She likes everything I've out in so far except bell pepper. 2 questuons. How much is to much and how can I store the lettuce so don't go bad so fast?

Well right now she's getting romaine red leaf lettuce carrots and celery that she does eat. Have tried adding bell peppers and cucumbers. She didn't touch those so guess those she don't like.

So right now her mix is red leaf lettuce, romaine, carrots and celery

Here is a thread worth having a read of Recommendations For A Balanced General Guinea Pig Diet

Important is unlimited hay in piggies diet. Pellets mormnign and night in a bowl

We feed ours this roughly
Morning:
Cucumber
Celery
1/6th of Red/Green/Yellow Bell Pepper (de-seeded)

Evening:
Cucumber
Two Little Gem Lettuce leaves or 10 sprigs Coriander. Twice a week we will swap in cabbage or parsley

We also add in to the above diet carrot, sweet potato, celery leaves and a few other things occasionally
.

Coriander is loved by our girls.

it is not necessary to eat everything... if your piggie eats some vegs it is enough. They usually go on eating what they have ate when they were babies, but the sometimes can learn. Try to eat a piece of a veg in front of her, doing a lot of noise with your mouth:)). It worked with my piggies when I tried to offer them new vegs.
Consider that they are herbivore not vegetarian and 2-3-4 different vegs are enough (and also vegetarian people don't always eat all the vegs). Try to serve her some fresh grass which is rich of minerals and vitamins and better for their gut.

I suggest that you feed your guinea pig the actual guinea pig food everyday, but add in veg and sometimes fruit to her diet. I recomend red pepper because it contains a lot of vitamin C and i also think that its best if you give your guinea pig small portions of veg either each day or every other day!

She has a food bowl with pellets available all day plus feed her vegetables one time a day

That's a good idea

I would be interested to know how much celery and parsley you feed @sport_billy. I normally feed 4 sprigs of parsley each once or twice a week but is that to much do you think?

It is personal choice, i think I overfeed compared to others to be honest. They get around 8 sprigs each
