Feel Like A Bad Piggy Mom

I have been so busy the last few days, we've been having a garage sale. I've only been able to have snuggle time once a day. How often do you all hold your pigs a day? And for how long?

Oh I feel bad now! I only have lap time and cuddles once a day in the evening. But I do pop my head round the door during the day to check they are OK when they are in their C and C runs, and I like to try and sit ouside in the garden with them when they are in their runs.
 
Haha don't feel bad, sometimes life catches up with us and makes us busy but the important thing is you love ure piggys and they know it plus you have a friend or friends for them so they won't get lonely once the garage sale is done, you will be able to hold them again like before.
I hold mine 2 times a day for about 2 hours and I know that to alot of ppl that might seem like a small amount but also throughout the day I pat them and talk and read and sing to them they live right beside my kitchen and I spend most time there so they always have attention plus my parents and siblings and friends also pay attention to them so all and all they get a lot of love plus it's nice weather so I've been putting them outside a lot which is excellent cause there cage stays clean longer and of course out there I always sit down with them and snuggle and hold them on the grass in the gorgeous summer sun
 
Aww don't ever feel like a bad piggy mom! They are probably treated like royalty and yes life sometimes does get in the way. Everything will soon be back to normal x
 
Don't worry! Not all of my two dozen piggies are getting cuddle time every day (and some positively hate it!); they have each other for company and regular roaming time, which is the main thing. As long as they are fed and cleaned regularly, they will be fine during a crisis! ;)
 
You are a wonderful mother so please do not feel bad. I only hold mine once a day as they would not like it any more. You have no reason to feel guilty at all.
 
Don't feel bad. I barely get huggle time with my boys and girl sad to say. If anyone's the bad mother its me. :(
My father has OCD and so I'm not allowed to take the guinea pigs out - but I do it when I know hes not home/around ;)
If I had my own house I'd cuddle them much more but I still play/stroke and chat to them daily.
 
We don't do much lap time at all as they prefer to wander about our feet etc and we give them attention that way.
 
We don't do much laptime maybe twice a week, we interact with them in the c&c to give chin rubs etc... Only one of our piggies now is a lap piggy the other 3 prefer to do there own thing :)

Never feel bad there is no right or wrong amount of time, whatever is best for them and you.

That's interesting as my fudge is not a fan of lap time thought he was being a fussy piggy until I read you reply Helen I think I'm going to limit his lap time or I will give him lap time on his own and see if its just due the the children and his brothers that he's not keen :)
 
My pigs only like cuddles on their own terms and I prefer to leave them to do what they like and they come up to me if they want a chin rub or a fuss.
 
I would love to be able to cuddle my piggies everyday... But alas they avoid me (the piggies)... I do go see them as often as I can and sit with them, and talk to them to. And if I'm lucky I might get the odd stroke ;)
