He is 4 weeks old now, currently a single boar, Bentley & Morgan attacked him and each other when I tried to bond them, the only other option is to have him neutered but that will make him a single boar for 8 months
Urgh I wish things were easier, I hate seeing him alone
Don't think that you're failing the little guy. If you were you wouldn't have come on this forum for advice!
I bought my first piggie (a boar) on a whim not understanding that they are so much happier in pairs. It wasn't until I found this forum that I decided to get him a friend. Personally after reading about difficulties in bonding boars I decided on the neutering route.
Spike was on his own for months (although it never seemed to bother him!) before I got Buffy and despite him being a single piggy for so long I don't think it bothered him when he finally got his girlfriend.
Neutering is not for everyone but there I'm sure there is a much higher success rate of neutered boar/female than trying again with another boar. You could even be lucky and find a neutered female somewhere out there for him!
Best of look and don't ever feel bad about letting him down
The only other thing I can "do" is try and bond him with Henry(1 year old) & Pigglet (12 weeks) looking at it now yes fab it would work, but in the long run I am going to end up with them fighting ect
If you were going to neuter him and get him a gf in the future why don't you just get him a boar friend now. Trios often don't work with boars and it would be a shame to try him with your other duo just for them to fall out too. You don't want to end up with 3 single pigs. You could go boar dating and fine him a nice mature father figure who will look after him perhaps.
