Oh I definitely agree that you are safer getting pigs from a rescue. I previously had four shop bought pigs and 18 rescue pigs (max 18 at one time). I loved Huckleberry texel but another favourite was Putty who was an Abby mix rescue. You have to see ones that are special to you.
