feeling bad

due to going into hospital soon and out of action for a couple of months i had to give my 2 lovely pigs up for rehoming.thankfully they have found a new home with other pigs to play with in a much bigger and better enviroment than with me.its not even been a week and i feel terrible,sad,lonely and guilty.not worried about me but how will they be?i had them for a year and we spent every day together.

I am very sorry; what a hard and sad decision! Are you still in contact with the new owners or did you have to surrender your piggies?

I am sure that your piggies' new owners will know how much they have been loved; I can always tell the difference with any piggy that comes here.

Not having your pets with you leaves a huge hole in your life indeed!

So sorry to hear your news As hard as it is to give them up, at least you know they're going to be happy. I bet you'd feel worse if they'd stayed and you couldn't care for them

not in contact but the rspca girl gave me as much info as poss on new owner and I'm content i suppose just cant shake the feeling theyre sitting waiting for me to give them play time and some lettuce!

absolutely.time is a great healer and all that but not sure if i will ever want to go through it again with any future pigs but you never know
