feeling nervous

not sure if this is in the right place , sorry if it isnt
freddy is about to go to the vets for the first time to get his nails done and have a check over but I'm really nervous incase they say somethings wrong with him or i havent looked after him as i should of
hopefully they can tell me something about him cause we have had him for a year now and the petshop didnt tell me anything about him, i dont even know what kind he is or how old he is

aww dont be nervous, if he is fine and healthy then he will be ok

It's quite hard to say how old a guinea is becasue the only signs they are not really young are the nails and weight/size usually.. but then again all pigs weigh different, my duke who is 1 year 8 months old and ill atm weighs 650g where as archie who is approx 11 months old is like double the size of him.

Don't be nervous about it, he'll be fine

I'm always nervous when I'm taking my pets to the vets incase something bad happens, but they've always been fine, and I've never been told that I'm not looking after them right.

If you're doing something wrong with him, they will make suggestions, but they're not going to say "you're an awful guinea pig owner and you need to do x, y and z otherwise he'll be ill". Of course I'm sure you're not, I'm just saying that they would word it in a nice way as suggestions of what to do.

well he's abosolutly fine and fit, said I'm doing evertyhing thing right but they recommend that i get him a friend, ive been looking for weeks now though and cant find anything , so i might have to buy one

Have you checked through the rescue section on the forum or thought of putting a wanted notice on there, if you state your location I'm sure someone here will know of a good rescue in your area

yes ive put a post on but nothing has come of it, i must of looked on 30 sites but there doesnt seem to be one that is local
