Tommies Mam
Adult Guinea Pig
This is going to sound daft but since I got baby pig I have felt for a want of a better word overwhelmed.
I am overwhelmed by how happy he has made Sparky I am so happy to see my boy so happy, it has given my old boy a new lease of life.
I am also feel overwhelmed by baby, not overwhelmed by having three piggies again. It's great and I love him so much. It's the fact that I love him so much that is causing me to be a bit overwhelmed. He's so tiny and fragile and when handling him I am so scared of hurting him, he adores cuddles. I want to ensure that I give my little man the best start in his young life and continue Hels hard work and it's hard to know whether I am doing the right thing I feed him the same as my other piggies. Lots of fresh veg and fruit, fresh hay and a handful of dried grass daily. They are on Mr Johnsons Guinea pig complete food and of course fresh water daily plus Alfalfa hay cubes as a treat. I even find myself creeping round my flat as not to scare him and the other day when I was busy I lit a candle in the hallway as not to have keep putting the light on as I moved about.
It is long time since I had a baby so young and I was much ignorant of piggies needs. Is there anything else I can offer baby?
