feeling sad today

Realised today that my time with my fosterling Ginger is almost up. 8...
He has changed from a scared trembly little guy to a cheeky little guy. He is now ready to find a friend and a new forever home.

I spent most of the afternoon watching him in his cage. I couldn't take any piccies as daughter had the camera but i will try to add to this thread tomorrow. He has the cutest face on any piggie anywhere... sadly can't keep him as would mean a second herd and hubby (and space) won't let me. 8...
 
On the brightside you have been blessed with knowing him, and now he is going to get a new home and new friend. I'm sure this wouldn't be possible without you, he'll be thankful for the time you have gave him :).

You have helped one piggy and this will give you the chance to help more! :). You've did well!

thanks... he's not the first fosterling and he's not the first I've wanted to keep... My recent addition Marty Pig was a fosterling rolleyes. Fi and I have agreed no more long term fostering, short term quick turnover to minimise the temptation :red
unless it is just the boys! inbreeding I have no problems letting the girls go ?/
 
awww :( don't be sad! maybe you could get the future owner to keep you updated on Ginger with pictures and/or videos.

You give so much of yourself to help a fosterling along - when he goes, so goes a chunk of your heart! That is never easy to let go...

Try to concentrate on how proud you can be of what you have achieved with Ginger, even though it will seem scant consolation compared to not having him with you anymore!

PS: I am looking forward to pictures of Ginger!

Cant wait to see some pics of this handsome boy. It sounds as though you have worked wonders with him.
