Today the lovely Rolo is moving on to Hillsbrooke rescue to get a friend and be rehomed. I'm alot sadder than I thought I would be Ive become really attched to him, cant look at him today without crying 8...
Took him to the vets yesturday to get his nails done and checked over. The vet was really impressed said his coats alot glosser and his eyes are brighter than when I first got him and he now weighs 0.7kg which is alot better than when I got him. She also said she thinks hes easier to handle than before, hes still not keen on being picked up but like a cuddle and a stroke. When I first got him I really struggled to pick him up and also he never wanted any attention he just wasnt used to it.
Anyway I better get him ready, I really dont want to let him go but know I cant financially afford another big cage etc at the mo and if we did get another and all 4 got ill I wouldnt have the vet fees for 4.

Goodbye Rolo you are a little darling you came into our lives for only a short time and we are so pleased you did. You didnt know what love was but I hope you do now. I'm so sorry I cant give you your forever home and I hope you understand. You will always have a place in my heart sweetheart.x)

Really sorry love BIG HUGS XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

GOOD LUCK ROLO ON FINDING YOUR LOVELY NEW FOREVER HOME XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Aww that made me feel so sad. You have done a wonderful job of Rolo. He is healthy and happier. You have really changed things for him. You must remember that.

HUGS

You have done good by Rolo!

But it is a heartbreaking business. I cried all the way home from the rescue after I couldn't hang onto my first lot of (shop) suprise babies due to a major illness in the close family and the logistics just not working out.

I hope that Sue will keep you updated about Rolo; I found that the hardest bit to cope with, not knowing how my babies got on after they were rehomed.

I really feel for you. It pulled on my heart strings just reading your thread. 8...
I'm sure a very good home will be found for your little sweetheart.
Sending you love and hugs x

Thank you that's one of the hardest things ive done. It was nice to meet Suzanne and I apologise for bursting into tears at her as he went into the cage.
I feel so guilty At leaving him and taking him away from what he thought was home, I can't stop crying. I don't think I'll ever be able to let go off another one again. Tho I'm pleased at how I helped him along so maybe one day I'd like to help foster.

Sarah xx

Please don't feel sad, you have helped him regain his health, and now you have helped him on his new journey of finding a new friend. Suzy will make sure he finds a special home. I think you already qualify as a fosterer.:) so more will come your way I am sure. x>>

That's sad that Rolo was moving on BUT you've done an amazing job nursing him back to full health, and thanks to you he will hopefully find a caring owner who loves him lots too!
