Feeling sad

The girls and Megan have gone on piggie holiday to Teejays as we go away for a few days tommorrow. House is very quiet without Cookie wheeking her head off and getting Treacle and Megs to join in.

Missing them already. I know Teejay will look after them really well and they will be spoilt but I am still sad.

Was really impressed when we dropped them off at Teejays and really recommend her for boarding. We met her piggies and Lima has mad hair and is even more beautiful in the flesh.
 
Aww I can understand why you are feeling sad. I would feel the same. When I am out all day I really miss my girls and I ache to hold them.
 
I hate leaving them, luckily with Patrick he's pretty much guaranteed I'll never have a holiday again I think asking anyone to syringe 90ml's of water a day is an impossible ask.

I'm sure the piggies will be back sulking about you leaving them before you know it!

I'm booking hols in May, and although I'm looking foward to some time away, I'm so going to miss my furries. :( Wont be long and you'll have them home wheeking again. :)

I feel for you.
I go away for 2 weeks in under 3 weeks so Dudley and Yuri are going to stay with Tillythepig (Allan at West Suffolk RSPCA). I'm looking forward to going away but sad I'm going to be leaving them,. I worry they will think I've given them away as Dudley used to go to a friends when i was away and had loads of space inside their house to run around (home from home really as he was always spoilt)
 
Awww I'm sure they will enjoy thier holiday just as * will...but I know ull miss them. Safe trip!
 
I know the feeling very well - even my hub finds the house without piggies empty and strangly quiet after years of them...

Have a great holiday and look forward to having them back!
 
Oh big hugs! I hate it when our pigs are left with the MIL! I can't stop thinking about them and worrying about them. After the time we moved out of her house and asked her to keep them overnight, as the move took longer than we thought and didn't have time to go get them, i rang her and asked her to top their hay and dry food up and give them their veggies, we popped round at about 11pm the same night as i had a feeling something was wrong, when we got their they had no hay and their dry food was tipped over mallethead.

Tejay will take great care of them for you however, big hugs and have a lovely time x
 
Awwww....Rach, I knew you'd be feeling sad.

They're all absolutely fine and dandy.....Meggy Moo had her pellet porridge this morning (she'd cleared what she had last night and licked the bowl clean x)), and was head-first in a pile of veggies when I left for work. As well as the Orchard Grass, she had some lovely soft meadow hay this morning, so she has a nice variety to encourage her to eat.

Cookie & Treacle were both happy and chirpy this morning and really got stuck into the veggies I was hand-feeding them....Cookie kept pushing her head under my hand when I was stroking Treacle, she's a complete attention-hogger! LOL!

Anyway, when I left them, the house was filled with the sounds of happily munching guinea pigs....my favourite sound! They're lovely girls! x)
