Junior Guinea Pig
Hi everyone,
So, yesterday eve, I checked the weather forecast for the night and it said the temp would be 8 degrees (minimum), so I decided the piggies could stay in their outside hutch over night. I cleaned them out previously and they had a mound of fresh hay. They had a rain cover and a thick towel over the front of the hutch, so thought they'd be ok.... but it was sooo cold this morn! I feel terrible!
I heard Poppy cough earlier and now I'm panicking. She's been her usual self with no other symptoms, other than that 1 cough. I'll keep a close eye on her. My tinnitus is really playing up at the mo and I'm getting frustrated as I'm trying to listen to any changes in her breathing arrrgh!
Fingers crossed that they are ok. They're in over night now until it's a more stable temp. x
