Adopted a pig today, he has a blister on each of his back feet, is there anything i can do ? should i be worried about him ?

I would say, firstly take a picture (experienced members might no what it is) Also, vet check up is always good for a new piggy. :)

Where did he come from, and does he have a namee? :D

His name is Marmite, i'll try to get a picture tomorrow, he's about 2 years old from the Adoption centre in Pets at home (i know most people don't agree but couldn't resist him)

Hopefully he will be ok, :) It would probably be best to pop him to the vet though (especially given where he came from, just in case. :) )

it looks just like when you get a little mark on your skin when it flakes away sort of, like as if his foot is shedding skin

could be the start of bumble foot or spurs...
please quarantine this piggie for two weeks away from other piggies (this includes air space) as hes came from p@h he runs a risk of being poorly...
good luck at the vets...

I agree that it needs checking with the vets. Sometimes they like to give a course of antibiotic to avoid infection. I also agree about quarantining him - we had guinea pigs with ringworm from a large pet store once and luckily we had kept them away from out other animal.

Gorgeous Guineas do some excellent foot creams - perfect paws is ideal if it's just dry skin, and I'm testing out F&M cream on a degu with a pressure sore at the moment and it is looking good.
