My boar winston got his nails cut a few days ago, i didn’t notice anything wrong but today i checked his nails and on one of his back feet (on one of his nails) the part closest to the foot is big and the bit at the end is small - He isn’t in pain and he can walk fine and i can touch it - I searched up online about it and i read it could be a ripped nail which will grow back but just wanted to double check - Any advice would be appreciated xx

Hi!

Please don't cut anything as you could cut into the quick and just let it grow out again and then cut normally.

Ok thanks for the advice - I wasn’t sure if the bit on the end was a “dead” bit or something 🙂 x

It's impossible to say for me whether it is a damaged nail or exposed and shrivelling up quick. Best left to sort itself out!
