Hi,I got my Guinea pigs out earlier and was checking them over as I usually do and noticed some yellows thick jelly-like consistency discharge on one of my Guinea pigs areas. I've never noticed anything like this before and so am a bit worried.
I know when females ovulate they produce a plug and I didn't know if that's what this is or whether it's some sort of infection.
I have two other piggies in the cage with her, one girl and one boy. The boy was done before he was put in with them both and that was months ago so I know it can't be anything from him.
I've attached a picture as my description isn't great. I'm wondering whether to take her to the vets but I just wanted to check first in case it's a common normal thing that I just haven't noticed before!
