FEMALE GUINEA PIG

Hey, so I’ve had my young female guinea pig for about a year and she was always the most hyper one. But I’ve noticed since yesterday morning she’s been very different....she always goes into this hide we bought them and when she comes out she will chatter her teeth at all the others and she never did either of those she’s very nice and playful but not lately..So I was wondering is that something normal for a growing guinea pig or is there something more wrong with her? (I added a photo of her that was taken in May..)

How old is she? Have you noticed anything other than the sudden dominance or aggression?
Could she be having a strong season? Females can develop ovarian cysts which can cause behavioural changes. I’ll add in a guide below which may be of help to you

Have you taken her to the vet for a check? If not that is recommended with any change in behaviour.

How old is your guinea pig? You say she's pretty young - which could mean she's hitting the teenage hormones.
