Hey, getting some female guinea pigs soon anyone got any name ideas 💡

Depends what they look like. Maybe if you have a photo look at them and see what name suits them.

I love the names - bubble, squeak, popcorn, dandylion and honey😊 let us know what you decide to name them!😋

A number of people have themes for their piggies’ names.
@Siikibam is right in saying wait until you get them because sometimes they almost seem to name themselves.
I had names picked out for Jemimah and her sister Keziah which had changed by the time they arrived home.
Keziah means Beautiful beyond Compare and that suited her perfectly

I myself have had only two pigs, but I would go with something short and simple that is easy to say. One of my sows was called Popi which was easy to say and I'm she would even recognise her name when called. I agree with Siikibam, get to know her first. Look at her pattern and behavior. I used this for my sow Ziuta, who was named after my mum's childhood guinea pig (who was fearless and even terrified cats) for Ziuta bullied Popi from the start. Although she became the sweet one later on (and Popi became the sassy one) the name stuck. Sorry if this is lengthy, just wanted to share my experiences. :)

@Merab's Slave
Yeah I saw Bandit and named her that because she wears a mask.
Luna is white, like the moon, with two black bits, which are the craters.
Hazel was brown.

I have Chewie, BB-8 and Rey. But knowing what they looked like came first and the names just Happened.
As it happens Chewie chews everything, BB is a bit of a bull dozer and will go through anything and Rey is quietly very brave.

I usually wait until their personalities are clear, then I name them. I have Tina (she has brown and tan long hair and looks like Tina Turner!), Kitty (a rescue name that suited her), Mya (who doesn’t seem to be all there and has odd eye colours) and Bella (who had several names before I settled on that one!). I also have Delilah who belonged to my sister so her name stayed the same and her friend is Ebony - yes, you guessed it, she’s all black! Give it time and you’ll find a name springs to mind for each of them!
