You REALLY shouldnt use straw for bedding (if thats what it is) :)

There are lots of ideas in teh housing sections for toys etc you can make to keep piggies popcorning :smitten: O0
 
What did the woman say about their set up ? Are you plannign on getting more piggies from her :D
 
Like i said that straw is really poo, so its quite soft, but i am looking into more bedding, maybe more shavings etc. (going to get a size suitable for horse bedding on the way from work on thursday, so i can replace that from the straw)

I am not planning to get any more guinea pigs - the set up is very good there, jsut got so many guinea pigs its crazy!

Fergie is at show standard apparently, I believe her as well, i reckon with a good bath, she'll be even more stunning ^-^ :smitten:
 
Yeh I have, i mean a bale of horse shavings costs £5.20 and with the 4 guys that i have now, it would last a very long time, plus I have a good few layers of newspaper which helps absorb as well :D
 
Ok cool, I've never heard of horse shavings though, so don't know what they are. ;D
 
well i mean like they are just plain woodshavings, often dust extracted to avoid coughing etc, because believe it or not, horses and piggies are very similar. Believe me, 12 years of horse management speaking here!
 
Ah right, personally I don't like wood shavings, I can't use them because I'm allergic and so is my Pudsey bless him. I do like Megazorn but even then I ended up with dust particles on my nose when I was putting it in the pens...lol Once pigs came indoors I had to stop using it as we were tredding it everywhere. :D

No sadly not, sold her because i away at college all the time and she was fiery thing and injured me a bit! and the other horse i ride occasionally at weekends soon to be sold i think :'(

Yeah well they seem to be ok on the woodshavings so far!

We have a riding school across the road from me, I was going to get Emily involved in that. She loves riding when we go to the little farm not far from us.

why do i have ditsy girls, like earlier i crept into the shed and fergie and hamish were out, and hamish scuttled inside and fergie thought the tiny window i made in there was a door, so she rammed through it getting stuck, i pulled her out and she was all like GIMME CUDDLES THAT WAS LIKE SOOO SCARY *in a weird american accent...because she is called Fergie*
