Ferplast and C and C cage amalgamation

Hello! I have recently bought a Ferplast 160 for my two female guinea pigs, who will be arriving in a few weeks time, but I want to make their indoor play area even bigger for when I am at home and the weather is too horrid to be outside. So I am considering getting a 4 x 2 C and C cage to link to the ferplast cage. Do you think this will work? Many thanks in advance!

Yes it will work and they will love having the space! You will just need to find a suitable bridge to enable them to get over the base of the ferplast

You obviously won’t need a full ramp, just a bridge, but this thread may give you some ideas Ramps in Cages

Mine used to use a log tunnel in similar circumstances, you can open it quite wide so the climb and drop is shallow.
