Ferplast plaza 160

I've got a plaza but I think the 140. It's in the loft as my emergency indoor cage. It's pretty easy to put together

This is the cage I wanted to get but I just don't like the side opening. Nice one on the upgrade, I do like these cages other than the door. Probsbky would be good on a table 🤔

Here you go Claire, good luck understanding it. But you can see how it's put together

You see, I really like the side opening. Thanks for the video :)

I have 2 of the plaza 160 cages and I bought the wooden house extension to make each cage 200cm long, I love these cages because of the huge front door. I keep boars in mine and find that it's a great amount of space for them and even with tunnels, beds etc it still leaves space for zoomies.

Thank you, I have a ferplast 120 at the minute and love the opening front

My piggies are getting an upgrade and I have just ordered them the ferplast plaza 160 :)

Has anyone else got this cage? Is it easy to build?
I have the Plaza 160 plus an extra 40 cm end part On the opposite end which makes a 200 cm cage, we have joined the 100 cm left over from the 140 with a little ramp. My threesome love it! It’s a great cage and takes to bits quite easily, OH has no problems at all!

That looks fantastic :)

I had the Plaza 160 for Bill and Ted, then when we got Posh and Ginger I bought the 140 Plaza. Ted lived in the 140 next to the girls in the 160. When Ted came back from Debbie’s and we bonded him with the ladies we adapted one of the drop down dividers and cut down the ramp to just go over the edges of the cages, it’s actually worked brilliantly. Ted likes to sleep in the 100 cm bit in his cardboard box, I think he sometimes likes to get away from the liveliness and popcorning of the girls! But they all use the ramp and come and go as they want 😄

They are good value cages aswell arnt they. If you get them from zooplus. I have £70 spare, might have to get one and a table from IKEA. I'm getting left behind in the old 120 club lol

The plaza 160 is being sold for £69.99 on zoo plus which I think is a bargain
It is compared to what other cages are priced. I still think its a bit pricey for some plastic and metal though, I don't know what work goes into them, so can't judge to be fair. I thought they were around 50 pound. Still worth it for some zooms😉

I have the maxxi skyline 120 x60. I remember when I ordered one, I received 4full set ups. After contacting zooplus for ages, and no reply, I donated 2 and sold 1

Yes, I got my 140 cm from Zooplus at £59.99. I got the 160 on eBay second hand from a lady who lived in East Cornwall (who was a past forum member). They were moving home and she didn’t have the space and was not continuing with keeping guinea pigs. the cage was like new and cost me £30, such a bargain!

Can't argue with that 👍

I see a Rat cage I wanted second hand for £30, new its costs £280. Rat cages are so expensive! But this one after looking at the photos closer had loads of rust and needed repairing

I had a Maxi Skyline 120cm before the plaza, which is fine as a basic set up and a good cage. We use it for travelling now!
I'm starting to think it's a bit too small for bernie, he's quite big. I feel a bit guilty but they do get a fair bit of floor time for hours on end, not everyday because of working hours for me are so random.

I've got this cage for my 2 boys. I'm not sure about it being easy to build, my mums friend put it together for me as I'm useless with instructions lol but it's a good cage.

That looks great. We’ve got the plaza 160 too and it’s great, have recently added another 100 ferplast cage to give them more space as I was feeling guilty at limited floor time (house full of children during lockdown/ holidays meant nice days in garden run were ok but the house wasn’t ideal for them to run about in).
