Ferplast plaza 160

Hi, I am looking to rehome some more guinea pigs after the loss of Abigail and Rosie in 2021 and I want to get a new cage for them, has anyone got a Ferplast plaza 160 if so, is this a good cage to get. Thank you

I have this cage. It’s a great cage although fiddly to put together. @Bill & Ted and @Piggies&buns also have this cage

Yes I have it as one of my spare cages (my boys live in a shed). I like it, it’s a nice cage but yes it is fiddly to build! I only remove the wire top for storage now to save the hassle!

I have the 160 & 140 and both are good, yeah bit fiddly but enough room for two piggies, the additional bit I use for toilet/hay lots of, mine love them

Fiddly to build, but a great cage. I have one for my foster piggies.

They can be a pain to build, but once up they are very sturdy and easy to work with! I use two of them stacked up

yes, I agree, a bit fiddly to assemble but well worth the effort I have a 140 and a 160 cm (joined together when Bill, Ginger and Posh was together

I use the extension part for loads of hay, two small litter trays in there, my girls love it, plus keeps rest of cage cleaner for beds, tunnels, food bowls etc have fun

No I don’t have the wooden extension just the 40 cm extra cage extension. Excuse the carrot cottages, we are waiting for some more to be delivered

Do you know at all if the wooden house can be added on to the 160 as it already has extension part on sorry to ask but I'm a new guinea pig mummy !

Sorry I am not sure? Can you email Ferplas perhaps and ask. there is one on eBay at the moment with a wooden house for sale, I think you can add an extension at both ends but not two extensions next to each other
