So I have had Alvin since tuesday and I have no concerns about his health and he does not have mites so i'm hoping to bond him with Harvey tomorrow.

When I bonded Harvey with Harlee it sort of just happened, I put the cages next to each other (at the time it was a c&c) and he started trying to get through to Harlee and he was close to hurting himself so I just put them together and things worked out great but I'm sure some of you know I know longer have Harlee :'(

I really want this to work out so whats the best way of introducing? Alvin is 8 weeks old and Harvey is a year and a half. Should I bath both of them? But then I am worried about causing them stress.

Alvin has never been outside so maybe introduce them in the run but then thats not neutral territory for Harvey.

Ahhh i'm so worried because if things don't work out i'm not sure parents will let me get another hutch for Alvin and I already love him too much to let him go!

---side note just seen little Alvin popcorning for the first time :)

The run on the grass would be a great place to introduce them as it's all to do with the scents not being there and things.

I'm not sure what the age limit for bathing piggies is as i know it's not recommended to bath young piggies.

This link is the best i've found for helping with bonding !

Thanks people say about bathing to get rid of the scents but I was worried it could stress out Alvin too much. They said he was 8-9weeks but he is rather small and weighs 455grams so my guess is 8 weeks

The best thing for younger piggies is to rub them in dirty bedding from the older piggy i think ! (:
