I love love love your roaming piggie. She is amazing and you have it sussed. I'm so impressed and envious. I think it looks fantastic having a free range piggie. x)x)droolx)x)

We have made sure that there are no live wires the piggies can get at in the living room and have blocked the access to the back of our sofa or behind the cage. Thankfully, they cannot get under the kitchen cabinets etc.

For temporary blockades, I would recommend using big cardboard boxes to block off any awkward spaces. Most piggies to not like smooth floors - the rest of the tribe stays happily in the living room and won't venture out again after a scouting trip.

But with Ffion underway, I have to be very careful again about not stepping backwards without looking first!

Independent characters like Ffion, my first piggy Minx or Wheeky's Elliot are not all that frequent. Most piggies are happy with a fairly restricted "safe" territory for regular use. Some, like my Cariad, are real home bodies who do not like to venture out too far from their base.
