Every now and then, there is a piggy that simply steals your heart - Fflur was one of them for me from the moment I read her story and saw her picture.

Thank you, Teresa, Sophie and Laura, who all made it possible that this spunky little lady could come all the way from Suffolk to Coventry in the middle of a memorable winter!

I can't say that I have had Fflur for just seven weeks - it feels like she has always been a part of the tribe; and we are all so much the richer and now so much the poorer for it! She leaves a big gap in our hearts. Life without her is just not imaginable right now.

The tribe are all missing you, not just Llewelyn his favourite lady or Ceri her nightly snuggling partner. We are all minus our Wheeker for food, our little ray of sunshine who made us laugh even on the darkest day! It was such a joy to see you blossom, and by making you happy, you made us all happy in turn.

I am glad that you didn't suffer - you could just not come back to us! You are reunited again with your sister so very soon; but I really hope that you won't let her get away with stealing your favourite tidbits this time round!

Every day has been precious just because you were there, and my only regret is that the time with you was far, far too short...

We all miss you SO MUCH!

its so sad,Fflur certainly touched a few hearts, she was such a special piggie and I'm so glad she didnt suffer.
Wiebke I'm sure Fflur loved you and i bet her last few weeks spent in your house was like being in heaven for her already,you were all so lucky to be able to have spent that time together be it so short a time.

From the moment you shared this beautiful girls story with us I was enchanted. It seems as though she has been part of the forum for years not just months. I am so sorry your princess didnt pull through and my heart goes out to you and the tribe. Run free at the bridge beautiful Fflur. Your memory will live forever in your mummies heart. You touched everyones hearts with your stories and pictures and will never be forgotten..

Fflur was indeed a very special little girl, and I'm so glad that through you, Wiebke, I have "known" her. I've loved her pictures and your stories of her, and it certainly feels like she's been here for a long time.

RIP sweet Fflur - you will be missed, but never forgotten.
 
Oh Wiebke, your thread has me in tears :0 Fflur was a very big part of the forum and she will be sadly missed by all of us. Fflur, you were a very special piggy and will always have a special place in your mummy's heart. Sleep peacefully at the bridge precious xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
 
Wiebke we were all very sorry to hear of Fflur's crossing over the bridge 8...8...

she is with her sister now and they will popcorn and snuggle and probably fight over food again

I also don't come on rainbow bridge much as it's very sad but had to come and say goodbye to lovely Fflur.

So very very sad she's gone but Wiebke youre right very it's a relief she didn't suffer.

Aaawww, Wiebke, you made me cry again -at work!

I miss little Flur so much and can't believe we won't get to hear about her funny ways ever again... And I agree with the "always been part of". Seven weeks? I don't believe it...

Ever since Fflur was introduced to TGPF I think she touched all our hearts - such a fiesty little lady.x) She had a fantastic time with you Wiebke, albeit far too short.8... Sleep well little lady, you will be remembered by us all.
 
Oh Wiebke, I'm so sorry little Fflur didn't make it. She was a beautiful piggy and I'm sure you'll miss her heaps.

Please take comfort in that she had one of the best piggy homes for the last 7 weeks.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Fflur, she really was a sweet girl, such huge character. She was meant to spend her final weeks with you, to enchant the lives of you, Llewi and the girls, and also for her to know what an honour it is to be one of Wiebke's guineas.

She leaves a huge bottom-shaped print in all your hearts!

Wiebke I am so sorry Fflur didn't make it. 8... I am sitting at my desk in work so haven't been able to look at your tribute - I will look tonight. We are all going to miss her featuring in your story boards.

You're so right Wiebke - even though I meet, care for and rehome a significant number of piggies there are just the occasional few who steal hearts - Fflur was certainly one of those piggies.

I'm just so thankfull that she got to spend her final 'wheeks' with you and you're utterly gorgeous piggy family ..................

I am really sorry to read this thread. Flurr was so special. She would have had the most wonderful weeks with you, it's a shame it wasn't longer. x
 
What a lovely tribute to Fflur, she certainly made a big impact in those few weeks you were able to share her life with her.

I am priveleged to have met Fflur and to help her get to her new home at yours, what a very special lady she was.

I'm so sorry that she didn't make it
