As some of you may know(?) I have 4 piggies. 2 older, 2 babies.
We had to separate Pansy (one of the older ones) (not the Mum) when the babies were born. We've now separated Bertie, one of the babies from the mum and sister so he doesn't mate(he's now (8 weeks ish). We left it about 5 weeks for the mum and girlie to settle down, and then introduced Pansy back (tried to) with the mum and baby.
Peony (the mum) wasn't having it and gave pansy quite a bad bite (not just a nip) and so we had to move pansy away!
Any ideas how i can make it work, or will pansy have to be on her own? :'(
 
Well, I've tried to reintroduce my Lucy Olivia to other piggies, and she nips and gets all uptight. She adds an edgy tone to the whole atmosphere while in the playpen with the other two. She gets so uptight with any other pig, and really seems to be happy with people. I call her our "people pig". So she is the queen, living in her own private quarters, next to the cage with the other two.
