After much thought, I decided tap water for my piggies will from now on go through a brita filter to remove all traces of chlorine and whatever else exists in our water supply. I hope this will go along way to help my little BonBon and her chums stay fit and well.

it can make a real difference, especially if you have a piggy with bladder issues. It did with mine.

Good choice. Where we reside I really noticed how much tap water isn't good for my boys after one day having to rush I gave them one off tap water.. I came home to a fleece full of VERY calcified pee stains... Not sure if it's just coincidence but once back on filter via brita it hasn't happened since.

I've just started using a brita because of Rosie's bladder issues. Amazed at how much extra water all the piggies are drinking. I give extra to Rosie with a syringe and she will quite happily take between 15-20ml at a time.

My Jerry has suffered with chronic bladder issues for nearly 4 years and had his bladder flushed 3 years ago. We've filtered all his water, including that which we use to wash his veggies, since.

I agree it made a difference with my bladder piggy too. There are certainly less/no white spots on the fleece after I started filtering the piggies water and using low calcium food.
