Filtered Water

Completely forgot about the calcium in unfiltered water until I saw a post a few hours ago. I have a cooler/water filter but the water in it comes out quite a bit colder than our tap water usually. Will it shock their systems?

Also, silly question but is there any cons to filtered water?

Filtering can take out some essential minerals but if they are having a balanced diet they shouldn't miss out. As for your water being colder I would pour some into a container and let it get to room temperature before giving to piggys. I always leave the water filter water to warm up before using it for piggys bottles, for their sake and because room temperature water is better for creating the seal in the bottles.
