Pip has died. After a full course of antibiotics and syringe feeding for almost a week.

I have a new pig, Mocha, who was brought in to help Pip as she seemed to be doing better, but now Mocha is alone.

I am not sure if I should keep Mocha, as I already love her but I am moving to another country and am unsure if I can take her, before I was planning to leave my piggies with my sister but it would be a burden to continue buying new pigs which she has to take care of for years.

Good luck to any one who is battling URIs at the moment :(

Hi!

I am ever so sorry that Pip hasn't made it.

Could you please tell us which country, state/province or UK county you live in so we can - if possible - point you towards good standard rescues within your reach, so you can make sure that Mocha will have company and only ever go to a checked good home.
I know that it is a hard decision for you make, but you are caring enough to want to consider and research all your options to find the best long term solution in view of your move.

I am in Devon. I will of course look into keeping her but will do whatever is best for her.

I am so very sorry for your loss.
Young single sows are often easy for rescues to re-home. Please use the recommended rescue locator to identify your nearest rescue.
