We have successfully bonded our two boys Bruno & Harold! I did try in January which did not work out but we have persevered with them and they are now happily living together and even during floor time they are inseparable!
It feels like a weight has been lifted! Since July I have been stressed with the piggy situation as Ted became ill and needed medicine three times a day. He then sadly passed so I was stressed Bruno was lonely.
Harold came along but was so scared of everything he would sit squashed on the roof of his grass house and not move. So I had X2 piggy chores and two lonely boys.
But we made it and watching them go off on missions together around the house is beautiful and worth all the stress and anxiety.
I have waited a week to post anything just incase they changed their mind!

Well done! Sometimes it is a matter of working past fear or fear-aggression and being patient to allow the piggies to settle and be comfortable with their neighbours and new home.

I do think it was fear aggression from Harold, I'd never heard such loud teeth chattering before and Bruno did not like it! But we set regular play dates and after three weeks of regular play times they looked forward to it and then pined for each other.

As long as you can keep things in the 'maybe' zone between them without a bust-up, then you are in with a change.
