Poor Ginger - when his mate Whisp passed away with lymphoma 18 months ago, he had to remain single as he, along with the rest of my piggies, had put been into quarantine for an un-identifiable respiratory problem. The vet finally lifted the quarantine two months ago and gave the OK for Ginger to seek a new friend
So, two weeks ago, Ginger made a special journey up to Leeds to visit Helen at Bramley Cavies Rescue and go dating....and came back with his new wife Tia, a beautiful petite chocolate aby x) They were completely inseparable during the time at Helen's, all snuggled up together, and I understand that Ginger was also the perfect gentleman (in that he took his new lady friend out to dinner first before trying to get his leg over rolleyes).
Once she got her bearings back here however, Tia soon "donned the trousers" in the relationship and poor Ginger has lost his favourite "platform perch" and is now often left to sleep outside the hidey. He's such a lovely laid back piggie though that he seems quite content and has really perked up having another piggie for company (even a bossy one
) Tia has been gaining confidence in leaps and bounds and is now perfectly happy being out in the cage whilst I'm walking around. She has been in season recently so Ginger has been able to romance his new wife without getting the normal faceful of wee :red!
Thank you Helen from Pebble and Ginger
