Susye
Junior Guinea Pig
Yes my piggies finally arrived on Monday, was meant to be earlier but things got in the way.
About 14 weeks old, two fluffy piggies, both tri coloured, Rolo is very untidy and more fluffy than Bandit. Bandit is mostly white, has two creesents on his bottom, a brown patch on his back, his face is three colours, he has black patches around his eyes and part way down his right cheek. He started off off as being called Wispa, but it wasn't fitting him, Patch would have been a good name but wanted to keep the chocolate theme going as Rolo's name really suits him down to a t, so had to be changed to Bandit which is a past chocolate name.
Rolo seemed to be the more condifent pigge and Bandit more shy and wanting to hide, but since changing his name last night he has been a humbug today when daughter and I were playing with them, he even went up daughter's jean leg, so already living up to his new name, he is slightly smaller than Rolo. They came as a pair and were well bonded before we got them.
They have settled in the outdoor cage well and we are putting in a hot water bottle every night, have been giving them some grass, today we tried some broccli which they really wolfed down and Esty deliver some dried pea flakes today. Buying a basil plant in Aldi this afternoon.
Bet you all thought they were never going to arrive
