I have had Bubble and Squeak since August, they were both single boars. I put them in connected C&C cages in October and have seen no signs of agression from them.

I put them on neutral territory today, with a dab of 'vicks' on their noses. I was so nervous in case they fought rolleyes

So far so good :) they have been together for 2 hours now a bit of mounting, rumble strutting etc but no fighting at all :<>

AWWW - they are stunning!

I would not recommend dabbing something smelly on their noses, because in the end, it comes down to the fact whether they get along with each other or not and there is no way around it.

Looks like yours really do! Congrats! Leave them a bit longer where they are and then transfer them to a thoroughly cleaned and "neutralised" cage. Don't forget to wipe the hides etc as well and to change everything around, so it's as "new" as possible for both.

With boars, it can take up to two or three weeks for problems to turn up when boars that initially bonded well suddenly start to fight or change the domince around. Don't worry too much about it - it's not happening that often - but keep it in the back of your mind and have things ready in case you need to separate on short notice.

they are beautiful nice to see them getting on so well x)

Still going well. rolleyes

Was advised to use vicks by an experienced piggy owner, I suppose we all do things differently. I thought it may not make much difference especially as they 'knew' each other already but thought it wouldn't harm to try.

Seems to be going well anyway. They have been together for 8 hours now :)
