so we have had Norman and Sully for 12 days now. Picking a time to bond with them and have lap time has been hard as Sully is so scared and hides from us unless we are at the other side of the room. He won't even take veggies from us even when its 1 inch infront of him. Norman on the other hand takes anything from us, is always up at the bars when we walk in wanting to be talked too and likes to sniff at us through the bars.

We took the plunge today as both their snuggle sacks were clean and waited for each to go in one and then lifted them out onto our laps with them in the sacks. Sully just froze, Norman just wanted to climb us, he had alot of fun climbing on our legs. We only had them like this for maybe 3 or 4 minutes, and on being returned home they pop corned, alot, which we thought was just them happy to see each other. Now I am just back from giving them eveing veggies and Sully for the first time, not only took a piece of pepper from me when offered, but hesitantly came up to me and took a piece of cucumber ment for Norman out of my and munched it! I am so happy he is finally feeling more comfortable around us! And maybe they pop corned because they enjoyed lap time? I cant stop smiling!

It is worth taking the time and being patient to win their trust! Sounds like both boys are finding their feet.

I hate having to be patient with new pets lol, its so hard to leave them alone for the first week, i find it better to give them that time to ajust rather the 24 hours. But its so hard! Not that I could give them much alone time as they need to be fed so often, spot cleaned daily and cleaned every 3 days lol
