My sons friend had a couple of rescue piggys from a lady who rescues piggys and she only lives 20 mins drive away (I didn't know about her) so I contacted her on Facebook and we are going to see her tomorrow to hopefully get a friend for Bonnie to bond with

Bonnie is almost six and she's got a lovely quiet nature, she's coping well after losing her third cage mate in three months. Would it be important to find a piggy that is smaller than Bonnie? I wouldn't want Bonnie to be dominated. The lady said she has a herd of girls ranging from nine months old to 4 years old, would it be better to go for a piggy that's under a year old?

If it was me I would go for a pair, any age that i fell in love with them you wouldnt have a lone guinea pig when Bonnie goes.

We collected a friend for Bonnie today and she's gorgeous
I only wanted the one because we just don't want a group of piggy's again. The lady had some gorgeous older pigs but they were much bigger than Bonnie and she did have a few babies so we had a ten week old. When we lose Bonnie we will go back to this lady for a friend for the new one. I will make a separate post with a picture of her
