Fingers crossed for Esme, here's hoping it isn't another UTI.

Esme has been fine for the past few weeks since being given the all-clear from her UTI, but today whilst having cuddles before being cleaned out she was quite vocal, particularly when touching near her stomach area. I had a gentle poke of her stomach and she was squeaking a little bit- not like a high pitched pained squeak but more of a 'chattering squeaking'- if that makes any sense.

So I gave her some 'cystease' mixed with water, (as she hasn't had any for a few days) and popped her in an upturned igloo with some watery veg to wait and see if there was any squeaking when peeing/pooing- about 20 poops later, she finally peed. It seemed normal, no visible blood, very slight yellowy, cloudy colour and no squeaking with either.

The squeaking itself seemed to be a bit of a 'one-off', as she did it before going in the run but not after.
She is still eating like a horse and she has also managed to put on and maintain her weight and not lose anymore and is a happy 1186g at present.

I just don't know what to do, I'm obviously going to monitor her over the next few days and see how she is, is there any signs I need to watch out for next few days? I'm hoping that she was just being vocal.
Thanks
Kayleigh x

Could be just a one-off. I had a similar experience with my Peanut Butter that I posted on your Esme photo thread. I can only suggest to keep an eye on her and make sure she isn't losing weight.

Hi Kayleigh to get the benefit of cytease you must give daily as it has effect over period of time with regular administration.Ask your vet to show you how to do bladder palpation to help move any debris out, like i do with mine.
And continue with metacam, interstitial cystitis can be long term and occasionally problematic. You can always call me.

Hope it's nothing to worry about x
